There are currently five Nocturnal Arms that players can choose from. Not every weapon is unlocked from the start, and most of them will require certain resources like Silver to acquire.

  • Witch’s Staff – Close to mid-range thrusting weapon with ranged magic as its special.
    • Melinoë’s first weapon and already unlocked
  • Sister Blades – Twin blades that deal fast close-range damage with a ranged special.
    • One Silver
  • Umbral Flames – Deals ranged attacks on the move with a special attack that orbits around you.
  • Moonstone Axe – A slow but hard-hitting battle-axe with the ability to defend yourself.
    • 15 Silver
  • Argent Skull – A limited number of throwable skulls that must be picked up after use.
    • Two Glassrock
    • One Bronze

While the Witch’s Staff is the default weapon in Hades 2, the other weapons must be unlocked over time by playing multiple runs and acquiring resources. Later in the game, players will earn an Incantation that allows them to change how each of the weapons work with Weapon Aspects.

Players will then be able to upgrade each of those Aspects to make each version of the weapons more powerful, such as more damage or faster Omega attacks. The cost for these Aspects will be a lot more than paying for the weapons themselves, so be sure to save up to upgrade your favorite weapon.
