It’s a new Expansion and you know what means, Guardians. Plenty of new guns. Here are all the new Lightfall and Season 20 Weapons in Destiny 2.
All New Lightfall and Season 20 Weapons in Destiny 2
Destiny 2 is a looter-shooter at its heart, and there are hundreds of guns to choose from. But with the arrival of Lightfall and the Season of the Defiance, that number has only grown. Lightfall has brought with it a series of new Exotic Weapons, and the Season of the Defiance has six new weapons.
Here they all are.
All New Lightfall Weapons
Verglas Curve
Verglas Curve is an Exotic Kinetic Stasis Bow that comes with the Exotic Perk Hail Storm. Stasis arrows freeze targets on contact and create Stasis crystals when affecting the environment.
Final Warning
Final Warning is an Exotic Kinetic Sidearm that comes with the Exotic Perk All At Once. Holding down the trigger marks targets within range and loads multiple bullets, which fire in a burst with increased stability on trigger release. Hitting a marked target with a fully charged burst will unravel them.
Winterbite
My personal favorite! Winterbite is an Exotic Heavy Glaive that comes with the Exotic Perk Big Frigid Glaive. Fires a large ball of energy that locks onto nearby targets and freezes them.
Deterministic Chaos
Deterministic Chaos is an Exotic Heavy Void Machine Gun that comes with the Exotic Perk Heavy Metal. While holding down the trigger, every fourth bullet becomes a heavy projectile that weakens targets on impact.
Not a bad haul! Elemental subtyping will have a much bigger part in buildcrafting for Lightfall, so it makes sense that these Exotic weapons lean in to Tangles, Freeze, and Suppression. As for the Season of the Defiance (Season 20), you’ll be able to find the following weapons.

All Season of Defiance Weapons
Important to note that these don’t include world drops for Neomuna, as those guns aren’t specifically associated with Season 20. They just happened to drop at the same time. There are six new weapons available.
It’s still too early to determine where these weapons fall on the viability spectrum, so try them out and see how you like them.
Perpetualis
Perpetualis is a Legendary Kinetic Auto Rifle with an adaptive frame.
Prodigal Return
Prodigal Return is a Legendary Arc Grenade Launcher with a Lightweight Frame. This is certainly the season of Grenade Launchers.
Regnant
Regnant is a Legendary Power Grenade Launcher with an Adaptive Frame.
Caretaker
Caretaker is a Legendary Power Solar Sword with an Adaptive Frame.
Raconteur
Raconteur is a Legendary Kinetic Stasis Bow. Perhaps a good shout if you want Verglas Curve but don’t have access to it yet. Or if you want a Stasis Bow but don’t want to sacrifice an Exotic slot.
Royal Executioner
Royal Executioner is a Legendary Solar Energy Fusion Rifle with an Adaptive Frame.
