Sonic the Hedgehog fans rejoice as last year’s Sonic Origins collection sets up for a massive DLC addition to celebrate the Blue Blur’s upcoming birthday. Releasing this June 23, Sonic Origins Plus comes with the original Sonic Origins base game, plus 12 additional Game Gear games, more game modes, new animations and music, and for the first time ever, Amy as a playable character in the original games.
In total, Sonic Origins Plus will consist of 16 different games all bundled into one action-packed collection. Here’s all the included games and extras you can expect in Sonic Origins Plus.

As stated, Sonic Origins Plus will contain the first four original titles, plus an additional 12 Game Gear titles that are emulated through the in-game museum.

Amy Rose will make her debut in the first four games; Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD. Additionally, Knuckles will finally be playable in Sonic CD.
For players that already own Sonic Origins, the Plus expansion can be purchased for $9.99 as an upgrade, and contains all the new content with all previously released DLC. Players picking it up for the first time can purchase the entire anthology for $39.99.
Sonic Origins Plus will also include extra challenge modes, including Extreme Missions and Mirror Mode.
