Early-game armor is always valuable in Stalker 2, offering much-needed protection when you have few alternatives. While options like the Debut Suit, Leather Jacket, and Bandit Jacket are decent, Ozk’s Explorer Suit stands out as an even better choice.
The Ozk’s Explorer Suit is the best early-game armor in Stalker 2 due to its excellent overall protection, and lightweight design. Although it lacks PSI protection, it weighs only 6 kg, making it one of the lightest armor sets available. Additionally, it comes with two artifact slots, allowing you to strategically equip artifacts from your inventory for added benefits.
How to get the Ozk’s Explorer Suit
To obtain the Ozk’s Explorer Suit, the easiest opportunity comes during the “Behind Seven Seals” mission. In the Sphere facility, look for the corridor leading to Solder’s room. You will find the armor lying on a table in the corner of this area.
This armor is easy to miss but incredibly useful in the early game, so make sure to grab it while you are there. The quickest and safest way to go inside the Sphere facility is by accessing the underground section first.
Locate the tunnel door and enter the code 2765 to open it. This route provides direct access to Solder’s room, allowing you to collect the armor without drawing attention from the soldiers stationed on the ground floor of the Sphere facility.

The process of acquiring this armor depends on your choices during the Behind Seven Seals mission. If you choose to side with the Ward faction and deliver the Ward Sensors to them, you will gain access to the Chemical Plant area after leaving the Lesser Zone instead of heading to the Garbage section.

The SEVA-I Suit provides excellent protection against radiation and anomalies. However, it offers limited defense against physical damage, making it less effective when facing heavy gunfire.
How to get the SEVA-I Suit
You can obtain the SEVA-I Suit from two guaranteed locations in Stalker 2. The first is in Duga, a late-game area, and the second is in Yantar.
In Yantar, located west of Rostok, you will need to make your way to the Yantar Production Complex point of interest. Once you arrive in the region, head to the northeast entrance of the complex. From there, take the road to your left, which will lead you to a building directly ahead. This is where you can find the SEVA-I Suit, but reaching it will require some careful navigation.
At the back of the building, you will notice a staircase leading upward, adjacent to several large pipes. Use the stairs to access the platform above. From here, you will need to jump onto the pipes and carefully make your way across.
A plank bridges the gap between the pipes and the building’s second floor. Cross the plank, drop down, and search the area. You will find the SEVA-I Suit near a safe containing other loot.
The second location to find the SEVA-I Suit is in Duga at the Arms Depot, which is the second point of interest you will encounter after crossing the bridge. This area is heavily guarded by elite Monolith soldiers, so be prepared for a challenging fight.
Inside the Arms Depot, you will encounter a Burer, a mutant known for its ability to control weapons. To proceed, you can either lure the Burer outside the depot or defeat it outright.
Once the Burer is no longer a threat, head to the generator located at the far end of the building and activate it. Afterward, return to the entrance of the depot and look for a door leading to the second floor. Inside, you will find a console with a button. Pressing this button releases a cell within the building. Make your way to the released cell and search inside. You will find the SEVA-I Suit stored in a locker.

While it does not provide the same level of physical and radiation protection as Exoskeleton armor that’s available later, the SEVA-D offers excellent defense against anomalies, PSI influence, radiation emissions, and bullets.
How to get the SEVA-D
To get the SEVA-D armor, head to the CAGE point of interest (POI), located west of the Slag Heap. If you have completed the Budmo side quest in Stalker 2, the transmission tower will be near the CAGE POI, making navigation easier.
Alternatively, if you are in the Cement Factory area, take the road heading south. You will find the CAGE to the east of the intersection along the path.
Once you arrive at the CAGE, carefully make your way to the top by walking along the girders. The SEVA-D armor can be found at the top, nestled against a wall.

How to get the Corundum Suit
While there is a chance to obtain this armor by looting Monolith soldiers, the drop rate is not guaranteed. On top of that, it allows you to equip up to five artifacts, each granting unique passive buffs. However, keep in mind that using artifacts comes at the cost of increased radiation buildup so make sure to carry enough anti-rad consumables.
Like other exoskeleton suits, the Diamond Exoskeleton also offers a bonus: an additional +17.6 kg to your carrying capacity. This means you can haul more items in your inventory without worrying about becoming over-encumbered anytime soon.
How to get Diamond Exoskeleton
In Stalker 2, there are two key locations where you can find the Diamond Exoskeleton armor: the Sunny Kindergarten in Prypiat and the Spark Bunker near Yaniv.
The Sunny Kindergarten is the more accessible spot to acquire this armor. First, make your way to Prypiat and head toward its central area. Exploring a few question-marked points of interest (POIs) on your map will eventually reveal the exact location of the Sunny Kindergarten.
Once it’s marked, enter the building through the courtyard and take the stairs to the second floor. After navigating through a few doors, you will come across a PSI Emitter barricaded by wooden contraptions. To the right of the emitter, you will find the Diamond Exoskeleton.
