In Stalker 2, weapons are essential for survival in the Zone. However, wear and tear is inevitable, whether you’re frequently using your guns or simply exploring irradiated areas. Over time, this leads to weapons breaking down in Stalker 2, resulting in frequent jams and other functionality issues. Broken weapons become far less reliable, but there is a way to turn them into a source of income.
In the game, one specific vendor is willing to buy broken weapons from you. This guide explains how to locate this vendor and sell your broken weapons in Stalker 2.
Where to Sell the Broken Weapons in Stalker 2
You can sell broken weapons to a vendor named Ragman, who is located in Rostok. To reach Rostok, head west from the Slag Heap.
While Ragman does not pay much for broken guns (marked with the red broken shield icon), you will often collect plenty of them from looting dead bodies.
Selling these to Ragman can turn them into a reliable way to earn cash over time, even if the individual payouts are not high.
Additionally, a Guide named Toad in Rostok allows fast travel to and from any other location with a Guide. This makes it convenient to return to Rostok, offload the broken weapons you gather during main or side missions, and keep the cash (Coupons) flowing as you progress through the game.
How to Reach Rostok
To arrive at Rostok POI in Stalker 2, you need to head west from the Slag Heap.
The first point of interest (POI) you will encounter is Shah’s hideout, a location you may have already visited during the King of the Hill main mission in Stalker 2, where you were tasked with eliminating either Shah or Roosevelt.
From there, continue heading west to reach Rostok. This area is home to three vendors, including Ragman, as well as a medic and a technician. Rostok also provides convenient access to a sleeping bed for passing time and a Private Stash where you can store or retrieve items.

Can you Sell the Broken Armor in Stalker 2?
Yes, you can sell broken armor to Ragman. However, unlike broken weapons, armor sets are rarely found while looting dead enemies in Stalker 2. This makes it less practical to rely on selling broken armor as a consistent way to earn money.
As you progress into the mid to late game, you will likely accumulate a lot of broken armor from regular use. These early-game armor pieces are usually not worth repairing, as the repair costs in Coupons can be steep due to the game’s flawed currency system. Instead, selling them to Ragman is a better option.
With that in mind, it is more efficient to sell your broken armor rather than storing it in your Private Stash or wasting Coupons on repairs. As you advance, you will consistently find upgraded armor with superior radiation and physical protection, making early-game gear obsolete.
