In Stalker 2, traders play a crucial role in helping you survive the Zone by exchanging Coupons for the items you bring them, such as ammo, weapons, food, vodka, and more. While most bases in the game have at least one trader, you would not find any when you arrive at the Noontiders’ base. However, the NPC soldiers there are not exactly tight-lipped—they often chat about Quiet, a trader located in the Wild Islands. In this guide, we will explain how to find Quiet’s location in Stalker 2.
Where is the Wild Island Trader in Stalker 2
Quiet is an NPC trader in the Wild Islands region of Stalker 2, just south of the Noontiders’ base.
So to reach Quiet, head south from the Noontiders’ base. After passing Professor Lodochka’s bunker, you will reach a section of the island connected by submerged train cars. Some of these train cars float just enough for you to use their roofs as a makeshift path—so get ready for some parkour.
Start by climbing the plank onto the first train car, then make your way across the roofs of the connected train cars. About halfway through, you will need to climb down and follow the path marked by tall bushes.
Be cautious of the water, as it is radioactive. Staying in it too long will cause Skif’s radiation meter to fill up, which can lead to his death. Keep moving to minimize exposure and stay safe.
Once you have crossed to the other side of the island, look for the first building on your right. Quiet is inside the Quiet’s Camp POI, ready to trade with you.
NOTE: If you have progressed the main story to the Wishful Thinking mission in Stalker 2, then you will not find Quite at Quiet’s Camp POI. The entire Noonstider base and their faction members convert back to Monolithians after this mission and Quiet’s location gets ambushed. As a result Quiet will vanish from this spot.

Why Do You Need To Find Quiet
While the Technician at the Noontiders’ base can upgrade your armor and weapons, the soldiers there do not offer much in terms of Coupons when you try to sell extra ammo, food, or other items you’ve collected during your adventures.
To get better value for your items, you will need to visit a dedicated trader. However, traders at locations like Zalyssia and Slag Heap are quite far from the Wild Islands, making the trek inconvenient—especially if you are encumbered by heavy loot. That is why finding Quiet is essential, as he offers fair prices for your goods, allowing you to earn more Coupons without a long journey.

Quiet’s Quest: A Light at the End of the Tunnel in Stalker 2
In Stalker 2, most NPCs offer side quests when you interact with them, and Quiet is no exception. When you speak to him for the first time, he will assign you the side quest A Light in the End of the Tunnel.
This quest will take you to Rookie Village, where you will need to inquire about a missing stalker. You will discover that the stalker is injured, leading to the next step: entering an abandoned tunnel that requires the code 1268 to unlock.
The objective of the A Light in the End of the Tunnel quest is to locate a Psi Installation. Once you find it, you will need to decide whether to disable it, destroy it, or bring it back.
After acquiring the Emitter or Psi Installation device, your final task is to deliver it to Sidorovich in Rookie Village. As a reward, Sidorovich will pay you 2,400 Coupons if the Psi Installation is intact or 1,800 Coupons if it is broken.
That is everything you need to know about the Wild Island trader Quiet’s location, the list of items he sells, and the side quest you get from him in Stalker 2.
