The official YouTube description gives us a little more information, but nothing too concrete.

“Meet the Princess of the Underworld in HADES II, the bewitching sequel to our award-winning rogue-like dungeon crawler. Details about Early Access coming in 2023”

We know that more details about early access will come next year, but outside of this 2-minute trailer, it’s all we’re going to have to chew on for a bit.

The Steam page had a bit more information to share.

“As the immortal Princess of the Underworld, you’ll explore a bigger, deeper mythic world, vanquishing the forces of the Titan of Time with the full might of Olympus behind you, in a sweeping story that continually unfolds through your every setback and accomplishment.”

At the dawn of witchcraft, you’ll be tasked with saving the underworld and more hidden secrets as they unfold throughout the game.

There will be more characters to interact with, new locations, upgrade systems, and surprises around every turn. Be sure to wishlist Hades 2 on Steam if you want to be the first to know more when details are released.

Plenty of other exciting reveals happened at The Game Awards this year, such as, Christopher Judge winning best performance, Castlevania coming to Dead Cells, and some new Street Fighter 6 characters.
