It’s that time of the week. You’re getting ready for another week of whatever it is you do. Who knows what this week will bring you? One thing that is for sure, though, is that with a new week comes new RuneScape patch notes. I have been looking forward to this week’s patch notes as they coincide with the new Woodcutting update! Of course, Jagex has more for us than that. Let’s see what they’ve released, updated or modified in this week’s RuneScape patch notes as of June 19, 2023.

What’s New This Week in RuneScape

  • Grand Exchange quantity buttons no longer cap at 1,000.
  • Fixed a crash that was a result of exceeding the max amount of money for a Grand Exchange buy offer.
  • Fixed an issue that caused incorrect information to be displayed when withdrawing coins from your Pouch.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause the Grand Exchange interface to show incorrect values for completed sales.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause coins to disappear when attempting to empty your Pouch into a full Bank.
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing the purchase of a Blast Hammer from the Blast Furnace Foreman inside the Blast Furnace area. Oh, blast (furnace)!

  • Restricted items for specific areas are now correctly removed from the player’s Inventory when teleporting.
  • Fixed a bug where the player could not teleport to the Wilderness Events by talking with Wandering Ramokee NPC in Edgeville.
  • God Books can’t be charged with 24 hour use time by using only one page.
  • Players teleporting into wilderness will now get a pop up warning them about the dangers of the wilderness if they are opted into PvP.

  • Music will be correctly muted now when the ‘globally muted’ and/or ‘music’ options are toggled on when you log back in.

The focus this week seems to be on currency. That makes sense, as the recent currency update had a few bugs upon release. It has been such a nice change, though, being able to purchase high-value items directly through the Grand Exchange instead of messing around with shards and the like. It seems that they have hit a few other bugs too. Plus, the Wilderness teleport warning is always useful. Especially when luring still exists in 2023.

As always, enjoy your time in RuneScape. Other updates have also gone live today. Such as the highly anticipated Woodcutting skill refresh. Be sure to check it out and earn the new best-in-slot hatchet!
