Dead by Daylight fans have been eating well lately, and it seems like the next chapter is no different for fans of classic sci-fi horror. While Nicolas Cage may not immediately come off as the perfect choice for a game like DBD, his role in Mom and Dad proves that he knows how to lay the creep factor on hard. And now, it looks like another classic film series is getting its comeuppance within the Fog. The fans have been asking for years, and it’s finally time for the Xenomorph to come out and play.
The Xenomorph Awakens In The World Of Dead by Daylight
[Update: 10:45 AM CST] – Since the publishing of this article, it has been confirmed that Ripley and Xenomorph are entering Dead by Daylight.
While I initially reported on some leaks that were happening regarding the upcoming chapter, I know when I need to eat some crow. It seems that the Candyman rumors may have been debunked up to this point unless he is coming at a later day since another licensed Pack is launching in November. But, until that point, we have an extraterrestrial killer ready to take our lives with the Xenomorph making their way into our favorite multiplayer title.
In the teaser video shown above, it seems we will not only be getting a new killer but a brand new map to lose ourselves within. Packed full of Easter Eggs and nods to the franchise, this is one of the most exciting packs since our last licensed Killer was released well over a year ago, with The Ring’s Sadako joining the party.
It also seems that Ripley fans will be able to jump into the shoes of their favorite hero, as she has been confirmed to join alongside the Xenomorph in this pack.
Alongside the addition of this dynamic duo, a new map will also be available for players to jump into, with the iconic USCSS Nostromo making its debut within this world. This is great news for classic sci-fi horror fans, as this ship is one of the most terrifying set pieces still to this day.
