7 Best Descendant Modules in The First Descendant

Everyone needs these modules!

A player’s biggest power spike comes from the module system in The First Descendant. Each Descendant can have its own set of Descendant module configurations, depending on its needs. These modules are the lifeblood of any build, and even a single piece can make the biggest difference. Some modules are extremely niche, but some are staples in most builds because they are so good for any Descendant. Here are the best Descendant modules in The First Descendant.

The Best Descendant Modules – The First Descendant

Mid-Air Maneuvering – Ultimate Module

  • Modifies the Grappling Hook to be cast mid-air. However, it can only be used once, and Charge Time increases by 20% Based on the Enhancement Level, increases Max Module Capacity (current +0), decreases Charge Time Increase (current +20.00%)

Mid-air maneuvering is one of the best sub-modules in the game. Every Descendant can equip it, and it lets your grappling hook attach to the air. You no longer have to look for any terrain or obstacle to use your grapple around. While it technically doesn’t add any power, it helps everyone get around better.

HP Collector – Ultimate Module

  • When defeating an enemy, instantly recovers 9.00% of Max HP (Cooldown 11.00s)

The HP Collector module helps any Descendant heal in the most crucial situations. It adds a lot of survivability, even if it doesn’t show up in the stats. If you stack more HP, the module becomes more efficient as the heal is percentage-based. Descendants who play around their HP, like Gley or Ultimate Gley, benefit the most from it.

MP Collector – Ultimate Module

  • When defeating an enemy, instantly recovers 12.20% of Max MP at a 4.00% chance.

The MP Collector module fixes several MP problems for heavy MP-costing builds. Bunny’s Speed of Light comes to mind as it drains MP by the second. The MP Collector helps Descendants sustain unlimited MP when running activities with hordes of enemies like Infiltration or Special Operations.

Walk A Tightrope – Ultimate Module

  • When HP is 50.00% or lower, Skill Power Modifier +8.00%, Firearm ATK +8.00%

Walk A Tightrope is a niche module specifically used by Gley or Ultimate Gley. Since she drains her HP, she gets a big power boost from Skill Power Modifier and Firearm ATK stats. For other Descendants, it is often overlooked because most players don’t realize they have low HP for most of the Void Intercept Battles. It is a great module for bossing, but you need to keep track of going below the threshold.

HP Amplification – Rare Module

  • +23% Max HP; -9% Max Shield

HP Amplification has one of the biggest survivability boosts for players, even if it reduces your shields. Compared to the Increase HP module, the added HP bonus is significant because most Descendants choose Max HP for their exclusive components. The module pushes any Descendant above 20,000 HP, and if you add more Defense stats, you can survive anything.

Strong Mentality – Normal Module

  • Skill Cost -4.00%

Like the MP Collector, Strong Mentality pushes unlimited MP builds to work in certain activities. You want to pair this with the MP Collector to spam as many skills as possible. You just need to reduce your skill cooldowns to maximize spamming skills.

Increased HP – Normal Module

  • Max HP +22.00%

The Increased HP module is probably the most used module in the game. It won’t overlap with other modules since it doesn’t have a module category (the type underneath the module). You can pair this with the HP Amplification, and you’ll basically solve 90% of your survivability issues, assuming you are building Max HP on exclusive components.
