Animal Crossing: New Horizons Player Hilariously Recreates Star Wars High Ground Meme

One Animal Crossing: New Horizons players took to the high ground with this hilarious Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith recreation and it is perfection! Even better? It’s video, which makes enjoying this delightfully messed up mashup even better thanks to a guy named David.

Twitter user ‘Gevurah22’ took to the social media platform to share a short clip of his recreation of the infamous “High ground” scene in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. He’s got the robes look down pat, that’s for sure, and who wouldn’t want a lightsaber in New Horizons? If somebody tells you no, they are lying. 

Pretty stellar, right? It’s not the first recreation in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and it certainly won’t be the last, but this particular take takes a beloved Star Wars meme and makes it even better when brought from a galaxy far, far away. Or a Nintendo Switch near you, tomato/tomahto. 

With New Horizons, players have been taking to the game with a creative fervor that is nothing short of inspiring. The Nintendo Switch exclusive launched right when the COVID-19 pandemic reached a peak and the world was put under mandatory lockdown to avoid the continued spread of this virus. New Horizons allowed players to still socialize, safely – including going on Tinder dates!

With more and more updates arriving to the latest Animal Crossing, we’re excited to see what more wild mashups fans can create. Now that we’ve got Star Wars, let’s try for a Star Trek rendition next!
