The Vector is an outstanding submachine gun with a rapid fire rate that is sure to help you dispatch of enemies quite quickly. It’s perfect when paired with a shotgun or assault rifle, and is exceptionally useful for those looking to take part in close quarters combat situations. In this article we’ll show you everything you need to know to get the Vector. 45 ACP as early as possible in Ghost Recon Wildlands.
While you can acquire this weapon later in the game, the tactics offered below will work great no matter when you choose to pick up this weapon.
How to Get the Vector
Getting the Vector might be a bit tough if you’re just starting out, but it can be done with a little patience and good aim. First, you’ll want to make sure you have a sniper rifle. If you don’t, be sure to take a look at our guide on how to unlock more guns. It will show you how to get the very first sniper rifle in the game.
Once you have the sniper, make your way to a helipad and pick up a helicopter. You’ll need this to close the distance to your destination more quickly. Now it’s time to make your way to the province of Media Luna.
Locate the base that we’ve marked on the map above. This is F.O.B. Buitre, so expect it to be filled to the brim with enemies looking to take you out. While you can do this in singleplayer, if you are a lower level, we’d suggest bringing some friends with you who can help out.
Make your way over to the hills just south of the base. Here you will find a road that leads directly inside. This is your way in.
Using your sniper, clear out the watchtowers along the southern wall. Once they are clear, focus your attention on the front gate.
There is at least one enemy patrolling here, so be sure to wait for the perfect shot before taking him out. You do not want to spook this base, trust us.
Once the main gate is clear, hop into the UNIDAD vehicle and make your way inside. Follow the road to the right, which will lead you to a garage. Hop out of the car and sneak into the building to keep from being seen.
Now all that’s left to do is sneak out the back and over to the armory. Be mindful of the enemies around you, and watch out for a patrolling UNIDAD chopper that likes to circle the area. Locate the armory, head inside, and loot the case.
