Fortnite Shifty Shafts Treasure Location (Season 5 Week 9)

Although the end of Fortnite Season 5 is rapidly approaching, there are still a few challenges left to help players rank up their Battle Pass before the season ends. It appears we have yet another treasure hunt challenge for Week 9, which tasks players with searching for treasure marked on a treasure map found in Shifty Shafts. We’ll explain where to look for the hidden Battle Star to help you quickly complete this Week 9 challenge.

Shifty Shafts Treasure Location

For this challenge, players must follow the treasure map found in Shifty Shafts to discover a hidden Battle Star somewhere on the map. As usual, you won’t need to find the map itself to complete this challenge. Simply head straight to the treasure location and collect the Battle Star instead. 

Based on the Shifty Shafts treasure map, it appears that the treasure is located along the uneven cliffs of the mountain just north of Salty Springs and southwest of Dusty Divot. Search along the edge of one of the cliffs overlooking the southeast toward the desert to discover the hidden treasure.

The best method is to land on this location directly from the Battle Bus, though beware of other players who have the same idea in mind. Alternatively, you can gather up some resources and build your way to the ledge to collect the Battle Star treasure once other players have fled the area. 

If you are searching in the correct location, a golden Battle Star will pop up from the ground. Collect the star to complete the Shifty Shafts treasure map challenge and increase your Battle Pass rank.
