There are loads of fun and powerful weapons you can track down around the island in Chapter Seven, season one of Fortnite. One of these tools is the Forsaken Rift Blade, an item that can only be acquired by traveling through special gates.

Forsaken Vow Rift Gates are strange portals that pop up around the island, offering a chance at claiming a unique weapon if you manage to find one. Interacting with these portals is a crucial part of The Bride quest series, which is focused on the Kill Bill collaboration featured in this season. If you’re having trouble getting this task done, here’s how to enter a Forsaken Vow Rift Gate in Fortnite.

You can enter a Forsaken Vow Rift Gate by tracking one down around the island and interacting with this special portal. Only one player can enter each gate, so you need to be the first one through to acquire the Foraken Vow Blade it offers.

If you played during the Star Wars Galactic Battle mini-season, you should already have a solid understanding of how these portals work. They function exactly the same as the Lightsaber portals that were offered by Jedi and Sith masters during the Star Wars season.

How to Find Forsaken Vow Rift Gate in Fortnite

You can find a Forsaken Vow Rift Gate by locating a yellow sword and portal icon on your map. This special icon marks any gate within your radius, making these portals fairly easy to track down once you know what you’re looking for.

This map icon isn’t always displayed, as these gates don’t necessarily appear right away. Some may be available as soon as you land on the island, while others spawn as the round progresses. In one round, I managed to land right by one and head inside right away, while in another, I was exploring around for a while before the gate icon suddenly appeared nearby.

You also need to be within a certain radius for the map icon to appear. Many other icons, like Hot Air Balloons, are visible regardless of where you are on the island, but Forsaken Vow Rift Gates aren’t, so you may need to traverse around a bit on foot to find one.

Defeat Gogo and Yuki After Entering a Forsaken Vow Rift Gate in Fortnite

After you return from your trip through the Forsaken Vow Rift Gate, two mini-bosses will spawn nearby, which are Gogo and Yuki. One of the essential missions you need to tackle asks you to defeat both of them in battle, which means you simply need to fight them upon returning to the island.

Gogo and Yuki aren’t full-on bosses, but they’re also not passive NPCs, so you do need to prepare for a bit of a fight when facing them. I recommend using your trusty new Forsaken Vow Rift Blade to fight them, as it’s a pretty powerful tool, and battling against them with it is a great way to get familiar with it. These two characters only spawn after exiting the portal, so be sure to fight them before you take off, as there’s no other way to get this task done.
