How to Make Green Dye in Minecraft

In Minecraft, you can make 16 different dyes, and green is one of the easiest to craft. To create Green Dye in Minecraft you will need:

  • Cacti (You can pick it up in Desert or Badlands biomes)
  • Furnace (Made easily with just Cobblestone)
  • Fuel for the Furnace (Coal, Charcoal, or anything else that can burn)

Putting Cacti Block in the Furnace will create a Green Dye.

What is Green Dye Used for in Minecraft?

To begin with, you can use Green Dye to paint any of the following items in the “Cacti Green” color:

  • Banners
  • Beds
  • Candles
  • Shulker boxes
  • Terracotta
  • White carpets
  • Wool

And if you want a building material in green color, you can combine Green Dye with the following materials:

  • Green Dye + Sand or Gravel = Green Concrete Powder
  • Green Dye + Glass or Glass Panes = Green Stained Glass
  • Green Dye + Firework Materials = Green Firework
