Destiny 2 has been around for a long time; this popular MMO shooter has received dozens of new expansions and patches over the years, but with them, a slew of new issues arrived as well. How to Fix Astral Alignment Not Working Error in Destiny 2
This error commonly occurs when you kill all of the wisps in the “Prevent Ether Harvest” phase, according to Bungie and numerous players. This is what causes the bug, which prevents you from proceeding any further – so, if it happens to you try doing the following to fix it:
Try restarting the activity altogether, since “Astral Alignment” is a co-op event split into four phases, and the error occurs during the third one. You will have to do the first two again to be able to proceed to the boss.
Astral Alignment Event Phases in Destiny 2:
- Crush the intruders in the Blind Well.
- Collapse the Taken Rifts.
- Either Prevent the Ether Harvest or Install the Batteries.
- Defeat the Taken boss.
Once you restart the “Astral Alignment” activity, try not to destroy all of the wisps this time, and hope for the best.
Unfortunately, there is no other way to resolve this issue for now, and if restarting the activity doesn’t work, try rebooting the game or even your router so you have a fresh log-in and try again.
