We’re drawing closer and closer each week to the DLC wave for Pokemon Sword and Shield, and to say that we’re excited is probably the understatement of the century. However, grinding out your team for Isle of Armor dropping in June 2020 might be a little bit repetitive for the festive season. Where to Find Wynaut in Pokemon Sword and Shield

Why not get your mitts on a Wynaut? Well, honestly, we can’t think of a reason why you wouldn’t want to. These things are really adorable, even if they turn indulge in a bit of buffoonery later as Wobbuffets. Now, let’s get one thing out of the way real quick before you go any further: Wynauts can’t actually be found in the wild in Pokemon Sword and Shield. If you’re interested in how to find Wynaut in Pokemon Sword and Shield, you’ll need to find a Wobbuffet first.

You can find Wobbuffets in both Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield in the locations below during varied weather conditions. We note that they’ll appear in the Hammerlocke Hills regardless of whether it’s rain or shine, but will tend to appear in Heavy Fog or Intense Sun in other areas:

  • Bridge Field
  • Dusty Bowl
  • Hammerlocke Hills
  • Lake of Outrage
  • Motostoke Riverbank
  • Route 5

Now once you’ve acquired a Wobbuffet, you can start the process of getting a Wynaut. To get a Wynaut in Pokemon Sword and Shield, you’re going to have to hatch one. You have to make sure that your Wobbuffet has a Lax Incense (if not, you can buy one from the Herb vendor in Hulbury) and then stick it in a nursery with a Ditto or a Wobbuffet of the opposite gender. Once your egg is ready to hatch from that pairing, you’ll have a shiny new Wynaut! Easy!

Another way to get this adorable little blob is to catch one from a 2-Star raid in Pokemon Sword and Shield, so we reckon it’s probably far quicker to get the Wynaut of your dreams by just breeding once with the required parent Pokemon.
