Sometimes trying to diversify your team in Pokemon Sword and Shield means being diverse about the balls that you’re using. After all, you might be wanting to farm up an entire horde of the same type of Pokemon and depending on what that is, you’ll be wanting to make sure that you’ve got the best spherical tool for the job. Here’s our Pokemon Sword and Shield Repeat Ball location guide for your convenience.
Pokemon Sword and Shield Repeat Ball Location Guide
So, you wanna get yourself a Repeat Ball. Why are Repeat Balls good? Well, according to Pokemon Sword and Shield’s inventory text about its effect, a Repeat Ball is “A somewhat different Poke Ball that works especially well on Pokemon species that has been caught before.” If you’re looking to get a catch of a particular nature or gender while you already have others sitting in your box or in your team, then why not crack into catching as many as possible with Repeat Balls?
If you’re on the market for this kind of Poke Ball in particular, we’ve got some good news: instead of having to gallivant around the wild in Galar, you can essentially just buy them if you have enough cash. You can buy Repeat Balls from the Wyndon Poke Mart where they currently retail for 1,000 each which is really chump change considering how much we’ve all spent on the fashion game in Pokemon Sword and Shield. Obviously, one doesn’t get to Wyndon til late in the game, though, so keep that in mind when you’re setting aside your pennies.
If you don’t fancy shelling out dollars for your Poke Balls, however, it’s also possible for you to pick up Repeat Balls by going to Watt Traders. You can give a Watt Trader 50 Watts in exchange for rewards that they may have, though it’s not guaranteed that the various Traders in the overworld will actually have the type of Poke Ball that you want – it’s a gamble.
Now that you have our Pokemon Sword and Shield Repeat Ball location guide in hand, it shouldn’t be too difficult to actually make sure that you can stock up on this type of Ball for all of your needs, nefarious or otherwise. We’ve also got some tips on purchasing special Balls generally, which you might find useful. Need help with something else while you take a trip around Galar?
