So you’re looking to add more Ghost Type beasties to your Pokemon Sword and Shield team? We definitely don’t blame you. If you’re wanting to soup up your existing creepy little critters and you aren’t after a Doublade, you might be after one item in particular. Here’s our guide to the Reaper Cloth in Pokemon Sword and Shield if you’re wondering where to find one.
Reaper Cloth Pokemon Sword and Shield Location Guide
If you’re on the market for a Reaper Cloth, then you’re probably wanting to evolve a Dusclops into a Dusknoir. This is the only way that you can evolve this Pokemon, so if you have Dusclops on your team then you definitely want to get this particular scrap of fabric. There are two ways in particular to acquire a Reaper Cloth, though one is going to set you back by some Battle Points (earned from the Battle Tower in end-game).
If you’ve already cracked through the story that Pokemon Sword and Shield has to offer, then you’ve likely accrued yourself some Battle Points already. One way to get a Reaper Cloth, as we mentioned, is to spend 10 of those Battle Points to buy it from the Hammerlocke Pokemon Center – there’s a young woman by the Pokemart section who will sell it to you.
Another way to pick up the Reaper Cloth is slightly more long-winded, but probably more immediately accessible and the bonus is that it doesn’t cost any Battle Points. You can pick up a chain of quests in Hammerlocke that will eventuate in you being given a Reaper Cloth. We’ve outlined the steps below for you:
- Go right and up a flight of stairs starting out by the Hammerlocke Pokemon Center
- Paula (a young girl) will give you a note to give to someone called Frank
- Go to Ballonlea and then to the first house on the left side of the Pokemon Center
- Talk to the man inside and give him Paula’s note
- Receive the Choice Scarf then go back to Hammerlocke where Paula was
- Press the A button to interact with that spot and you’ll get the Reaper Cloth
The spooky thing about that is that it implies that Paula was basically a ghost and that you were helping her cross into the afterlife by delivering that letter. Creepy! Now that you’ve got our Reaper Cloth Pokemon Sword and Shield location guide to hand, it should be easy enough for you to find one of your own to evolve that Dusclops.
