Where to Buy Quick Balls in Pokemon Sword and Shield

Why might you be wanting to use Quick Balls as a Trainer? Well, the description of this particular ball reads as follows: “A somewhat different Poke Ball that has a more successful catch rate if used at the start of a wild encounter.” Essentially, instead of whittling down a Pokemon’s health and then throwing out your balls at the very last moment, you’re going to want to just start whacking away at it with a Quick Ball before you even do anything else for maximum efficiency. This could potentially save you entire battles if, well, you’re lucky.

Now, we’ve put out a guide previously on where to get selected variants of Poke Balls in the game, which you can refer to here. To get Quick Balls specifically, however, you’re going to have to make your way through the game until you can access Wyndon. Famously known for its Battle Tower, this location is also a fair way through Pokemon Sword and Shield’s main story, so you won’t be able to reap the benefits of mass Quick Ball ownership until you’ve cracked through a fair bit of the narrative.

Now, the Quick Ball isn’t the only special Ball that you can buy from Wyndon’s Poke Centre. You can pick that particular type of Ball up for $1,000 per Ball, but here’s a full list of the other Balls available at the same location:

  • Luxury Ball
  • Quick Ball
  • Repeat Ball

Now that you’ve got our guide on where to buy Quick Balls in Pokemon Sword and Shield, getting your hands on your very own stash won’t be hard as long as you’ve got the funds.
