We’re basically only a couple of days out in Destiny 2 from the end date of the Dawning 2019 festivities, which means that this is your absolute last chance to get some of those coveted ingredients and to bake to your heart’s content. Destiny 2 Impossible Heat Guide – Dawning 2019 Ingredient

All Dawning recipes follow an identical formula to the initiated. We’re talking one uncommon ingredient, one rare ingredient and 15 Essence of Dawning. If you’re looking for the rare Impossible Heat ingredient, then it’s likely that you’ve got to make one of the following two recipes:

• Ill-Fortune Cookies (enjoyed by Petra Venj) – Dark Ether Cane, Impossible Heat, Essence of Dawning
• Infinite Forest Cake (enjoyed by Failsafe) – Vex Milk, Impossible Heat, Essence of Dawning

Rare ingredients are obtained often by way of slaughtering something in a particular fashion. In the case of getting Impossible Heat, your mandate is going to be to make sure that you finish an enemy off with Solar damage. Whether it’s by way of a Solar weapon or Solar abilities is irrelevant so long as it’s Solar damage that is the final nail in their casket. The type of enemy is irrelevant too, so you can scorch pretty much anything to death. Like with all other rare ingredients, it’s not going to be as easy as getting one Impossible Heat per kill netted this way, so you’re going to have to grind a little to amass a stock if you’re wanting to make multiples of the delicious Dawning goods that require this ingredient.
