How to Get Amber in Enshrouded

Enshrouded has several types of resources to acquire, and some of them have different priorities depending on what you are playing. For mages, you’ll surely want to get a stockpile of minerals like Amber to get your spells, especially the Eternal versions. If you are looking into getting some of those spells, you’ll want to get a ton of Amber, and here’s how to get them in Enshrouded.

Where to Get Amber in Enshrouded

Even after going through most of the content in Enshrouded, Amber has been one of the hardest resources to find just because they are so condensely located in one spot, and extremely scarce at the same time. However, once you know where to look, you’ll easily get everything you need because Amber isn’t used that often.

In the image above, you’ll see the Revelwood fast travel spire next to three encircled spots. You want to fast travel to the Revelwood fast travel point and glide down to the shrouded area. Look for an orange hue on the terrain. The color is a lot darker than the clay but has the same orange color. Mining this will give you Amber.

Since these Amber nodes are inside the shrouded area, you’ll need to be careful and watch out for the timer as much as possible. There are many enemies roaming around, and if you stay too long in the shrouded area, you might not have time to get out and recover. Always plan out a route to where you can escape for…air.

I recommend mining as many Amber as possible if you are in the early stage and just keep them. You might forget where you farm them after a lot of hours progressing into the game.

What is Amber Used For in Enshrouded?

Amber is needed to either upgrade the flame or create powerful spells. The flame upgrade needs no more explanation at this point, and you should prioritize it as much as possible to progress in the game.

For spells, you are mostly looking at the Fireball II and Eternal Fireball. Eternal Fireball is an infinite Fireball spell, which needs 50 Amber. Since it is an Eternal or infinite spell, you want to prioritize this over the other Fireball spell because it takes 5 Amber to make each Fireball II spell, which is sadly temporary.

If you are looking into becoming a mage, you should also pair that awesome fireball spell with some healing spells for sustainability. Mages are fragile, after all.
