How to Get Spirit Glimmers in The Rogue Prince of Persia

Spirit Glimmers is the main currency toward your progression in The Rogue Prince of Persia. Your goal is to get as many Spirit Glimmers and progress a little more by strengthening the Prince through upgrades. Here’s the best way to get Spirit Glimmers and afford all those new Medallions and upgrades in The Rogue Prince of Persia.

Where to Get Spirit Glimmers in The Rogue Prince of Persia

There are three ways to get Spirit Glimmers:

• Opening equipment chests and normal chests
• Eliminating enemies
• Random Spirit Glimmer item spawns

The most consistent way of getting Spirit Glimmers out of the three ways is just by eliminating enemies. You’ll get 1 or 2 per enemy, but these Spirit Glimmers don’t actually go to you. You have to deposit them in a Spirit Glimmer Cauldron, as seen in the image above.

So, it means that you have to play safe when you are holding a ton of Spirit Glimmer so you can at least send them back to the Oasis for spending. If you look at the upper-right hand of your screen, you’ll see two Spirit Glimmer values.

The one on the left is highlighted in white, and it is the Spirit Glimmer you are currently holding in your current playthrough. Once you send it back to the Oasis, the values will move to the right side, highlighted in purple. When you die, you can now use the Spirit Glimmer in the shops.

If you skipped a few enemies and then you see a Spirit Glimmer Cauldron, you can fast travel back to clear some enemies just so you can deposit more Spirit Glimmers to the Oasis.

The best strategy to farm Spirit Glimmers fast is to just keep repeating the first stage until the first Spirit Glimmer Cauldron. After you find one, deposit some and try to end your run. It isn’t pretty, but if you really want the Spirit Glimmers fast, it’ll save you some time.

What are Spirit Glimmers Used For?

You can use Spirit Glimmers to buy upgrades from Sukhra’s Forge or Paachi’s shop. Sukhra sells weapons once you have unlocked the blueprints for them. Most of them are acquired through an equipment chest.

Once you have purchased a weapon, it’ll start showing up in your playthrough. The same goes for Paachi’s shop but for Medallions instead. You can also buy the healing potion from Paachi that allows you to increase your maximum health. However, you still need to find the item in your playthrough to apply it.
