Who doesn’t love digging through garbage? Here’s how to unearth all the artifacts hidden in the Pipeline Depository in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
All Pipeline Depository Artifacts in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth – Exact Locations
Once you’ve unlocked the Morass Lifespring in the swamp, Chadley will inform you of a new Excavation Site to the far north called Pipeline Depository. To find it, simply head west from Kalm and take the path beneath the bridge north before you reach the Midgar checkpoint.
When you arrive, you’ll find the name really fits. There are a lot of massive pipes here. And there are three artifacts to uncover, which add a new assortment of recipes to your Item Transmuter.
To find these artifacts, get on your Chocobo. Then, explore the Depository until a blue question mark appears over your Chocobo’s head. Press and hold the Up button on your D-Pad while using your right joystick to turn your Chocobo toward the arrow. Once you’re facing the right direction, a blue line will spawn from your Chocobo, leading toward the buried artifact. However, because there are quite a few pipes, there’s a good chance your blue line will get intercepted by an obstacle. When this happens, go past the obstacle in the direction the blue line was pointing. Then, use Scent to summon the blue line again.
The first artifact can be found in the middle of the Pipe Depository, almost beneath the yellow icon.
From the first artifact’s position, you can actually immediately use scent to find the second artifact. It’s to the north, in the pipe.
The final artifact’s location is to the east, in the pipe closest to the rock wall.
Here are all the recipes you’ll find:
- Basic Accessories Recipes will be unlocked:
- Hi-Power Wristguards
- Bulletproof Vest Mk. II
- Magical Earrings
- Talisman of Focus
- Camaraderie Earrings – increases damage dealt with synergy skills and synergy abilities by 10%.
- Armor Upgrades 2 will be unlocked:
- Enhanced Hunter’s Bangle
- Enhanced Bone Bracelet
While we won’t get any quest items at this expedition location this time, like the Quetzalcoatl Talon that was necessary to complete Where the Wind Blows, we’ll now be able to craft some pretty useful defensive items.
