How to Buy and Sell Pals in Palworld

Let's hope the Pals don't mind too much.

As you catch more Pals in Palworld, you’re met with a few options for handling them, from adding them to your party to getting them to work around your base. You can also buy Pals and sell them to make money if you want extra gold coins in your pocket.

Where to Buy and Sell Pals in Palworld

Buying and selling your Pals requires visiting a Black Marketeer or the Small Settlement Pal Merchant. While the Small Settlement is easily accessible through its nearby fast-travel statue, the Black Marketeer has rare Pals that you normally can’t get anywhere else, making it easier to complete your Paldeck if you’re close to finishing it.

However, both merchants have the same prices for selling Pals, so visiting one or the other won’t influence your profit margins.

How to Find the Black Marketeer in Palworld

The Black Marketeer is in an abandoned mineshaft under the Desolate Church at coordinates (25, -418). If you start from the church, you’ll have to head south off the cliff before turning northwest and entering the mineshaft tucked under the mountain.

In this cave, you’ll find the Black Marketeer, ready to sell you some contraband, also known as rare Pals.

How to Find the Small Settlement in Palworld

Your second option is to visit the Pal Merchant in the Small Settlement at coordinates (71, -486). It’s northwest of the Plateau of Beginning and Grassy Behemoth Hills, with the merchant NPC inside a house within this town.

Unlike the Black Marketeer, the Pal Merchant sells common Pals you’ll often find in the wild. However, it’s a good opportunity to buy Pals you like or that have work preferences you need. You can also sell Pals here, much like with the Black Marketeer.

In the Small Settlement, you’ll also find a wandering merchant who sells items like berry and wheat seeds, schematics, and other valuable materials you can buy using the gold you got from selling your pals.
