How to Complete the Mastery Rank 6 Test in Warframe

Word of advice: Never underestimate a Mastery test.

As you progress through Warframe and get all sorts of gear to rank 30, you’ll be met with Mastery tests. These are given each time you complete the XP bar on a Mastery level and are the final stepping stone to achieving the next Mastery Rank. Some of these can be quite easy, whilst others can be very difficult and take a few tries to get the hang of. One test comes fairly early on in a player’s grind, though can be challenging regardless. Here’s how to complete the Mastery Rank 6 test in Warframe.

What to Do for the Mastery Rank 6 Test in Warframe

The Mastery Rank 6 test in Warframe is entirely based on your ability to track a target. When the test begins, you’re faced with many orbs around you, with one of them being red. You want to shoot the red orb, then follow the green lines that go to many different orbs until they reach another red orb. From there, you rinse and repeat, shooting different red orbs until you complete a round. Do all of this for three rounds, and you will complete the test.

How to Make the Mastery Rank 6 Test Easier in Warframe

With this being said, there are a lot of things you can do to make the Mastery Rank 6 test a little easier. One thing you should do is bring either a rifle or shotgun with a high magazine capacity, as you’ll be asked to shoot a lot of targets. You don’t want something too close range, though, as you won’t be able to hit the target very easily that way. Most players suggest that you run the Soma here thanks to it being easy to craft and fitting the bill quite well.

Another thing other players suggest is turning down bloom and visual effects, along with turning down the brightness. Given the lines you want to follow and the red orbs you want to shoot are vibrant, doing this can make them stick out much more. The last bit of advice we can give is to take your time with it. You don’t have all day, but you don’t need to rush through the test like it’s a speed run. It’s better you take your time and do it right than to try and rush it and fail miserably. Run a few practice runs if you want to since those won’t impose a day-long penalty like a real test will.

And there you have it! With some practice and a bit of preparation, the Mastery Rank 6 test in Warframe should be easy to complete. While you’re here, check out our guide on the best ways to get Platinum in Warframe.
