There’s no guaranteed way to farm Meteorite Ore, but here are some reliable sources you can usually find it at:

  • Loot Everything
    • Boxes, crates, barrels, chests, and bodies. Everything you’re able to loot in The Witcher 3, you should loot. You’ll occasionally find rare materials, like Meteorite Ore, just by scavenging through things as you explore caves and keeps.
  • Check Blacksmith’s Wares
    • Some blacksmiths around the world can sell you Meteorite Ore, among other components you may find useful. Many players report that the blacksmith in Novigrad will sell you Meteorite Ore, for example.
  • Dismantle Gear
    • Dismantling armor and weapons you’ve found can yield crafting components. Try taking apart unwanted gear you find along your travels, especially things like the Meteorite Pickaxe.
