Who Should You Give the Floating Relic to in Palia? – Answered

When you cast your line into a body of water, there’s no limit to what you can catch. Perhaps you’ll catch your 10,000 Gillyfin… or you might drag to shore the mysterious Floating Relic. A relic that you’ll need to speak to quite a few people to unravel.

You can speak to Elouisa or Jina to kick off this quest. Elouisa enjoys hanging out in the library during the day while Jina is almost always at Mirror Pond Ruins. It doesn’t matter who you speak to first, you’ll have to speak to almost everyone eventually.

Speaking to Elouisa will cause her to go on a wild, rambling conspiracy theory, and she’ll then refer you to Zeki at the General Store. He’ll then refer you to Einar, who we can’t speak to yet. So, don’t bother!

Instead, speak to Jina. She’ll then dispute Elouisa’s claims and refer you to the librarian. Who, of course, is at the library in town. Once you’ve had this dialogue, you can actually go straight to Einar and finish up this quest. Or you can extend the quest by one more step and speak to Caleri, who will refer you to Einar at the dock.

Einar will reveal that the floating relic was actually crafted by his creator, and that Elouisa’s conspiracy theory was right on the money. For finding it, he’ll give you a Minor Rod Health Booster and +5 Renown. It’s not a bad gift, as Minor Rod Health Booster would normally run you 100 Gold.

If you love fishing, you’ll want to add the alien Mutated Angler to your collection. Or perhaps make a worm farm to ensure you always have bait for your rod.
