Winter is here, and Palia has some big updates on the horizon to go with the holiday season. If you’re eager to know what you can expect to see from this cozy game next, you may want to review the Winter’s Wonder roadmap to learn what’s in store.
With a new major update right around the corner and plenty of future features to look forward to, Palia has lots in store you won’t want to miss out on. If you’re hoping to learn more about it, here’s a complete breakdown of the Winter’s Wonder 2025-2026 roadmap for Palia.
Palia Roadmap – All Late 2025 and Early 2026 Updates
Palia has a large update planned for the imminent future, plus lots of content set to arrive further down the line, which means there’s plenty to look forward to before 2025 ends and even more once 2026 begins. Here’s everything that’s been revealed so far.
Fall Fantasy: Home For Winterlights Update
The next major update for Palia is patch 0.198, which brings plenty of exciting content but is mostly focused on the 2025 installment of Winterlights. This is an annual celebration dedicated to the holiday season. This update will include:
- Snow for all of Kilima Valley throughout the holiday season
- Winterlights event quests and celebrations
- The community-focused Grow-A-Snowman event and rewards
- Updated tint system that includes the new Tint Crafter
- Six new tints you can craft and use on furniture
- New Lunar Paths system, which is essentially Palia’s take on a battle pass system
- Path of the Kitsuu Lunar Path, which is the first one to ever release
- Home Lines: The Estate, a new house set based on the mayor’s house
Following this update, players can expect to generally see a new Lunar Path in each update going forward, as the devs intend to release them regularly. Luckily, there’s no time limit on them, so you don’t need to worry about rushing through them by a certain end date.
In-game Announcements
Later down the line, sometime after the patch 0.198 update, a new way for the devs to communicate with all players is being added with the addition of in-game announcements. This feature will be used to more seamlessly deliver all Palians key news, like game maintenance, events, announcements, Twitch Drops, and more. Prior to this, these kinds of announcements could only be viewed directly on the Palia website.
New Adventure Zone
A fresh area to explore is actively in the works, with a new adventure zone slated to arrive in 2026. No details have been revealed just yet, but we can expect to see a large new area complete with plenty of resources and secrets to uncover, similar to other regions.
Photo Mode Improvements
An upgraded and improved version of photo mode is also on the horizon. No details about what these changes may include have been revealed, but I’m personally hoping for an update that allows us to actually pose and take pictures of our characters.
Other Features
In addition to the major content and updates that have been revealed, there are also some smaller ones slated for the near future. Some other key update features set to arrive are as follows.
- More masculine-presenting fashion options
- Palian population improvements
- More seasonal content
- Fairy Mantis plush
- Main story continuation quests
- Ulfe friendship quests
