Who is the Voice Actor for Ballistic in Apex Legends – Answered

Season 17 is bringing a whole host of changes. But Ballistic is naturally in the spotlight as our latest Legend addition. This 63 year-old fighter is August “Ballistic” Brinkman, and he’s voiced by Robin Atkin Downs.

If that name sounds vaguely familiar, it should. At least if you’re a nerd. Robin Atkin Downs is an English Actor with an extensive voice acting career.

You may know him from animated films like his role as Ack in How to Train Your Dragon, David in the English dub of Steamboy, and Manchester Black in Superman vs. The Elite.

In his live-action roles, he’s been Pockla in Angel, Byron and Morann Babylon 5, and Machida in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

But his gaming voice work is even more extensive. Destiny 2 players will know him as Spider and Hector. But he’s also been Travis Touchdown in No More Heroes III, Colonel Gralm in Star Wars: Squadrons, Luxord and Davy Jones in Kingdom Hearts III, and Kazuhira Miller in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Robin Atkin Downs’ extensive experience in the field has shined through in the trailers, as he’s really brought the old gunslinger to life.
