Fu Xuan has been a character that’s been in many of Honkai: Star Rail’s trailers for months now, even before the official release of the game. She made her grand appearance by thwarting Kafka’s attack by seemingly slowing time and redirecting her bullets. And now, we officially get to see her in the story.
Everything You Need to Know About Fu Xuan from Honkai: Star Rail
Fu Xuan graced us with her presence officially when she was introduced alongside Jing Yuan and Yanqing. Involved in the tracking down and capturing of the elusive Stellaron Hunters, Kafka, and Blade, you already get the sense that while she may have lofty ambitions, she also has the abilities to back them up. Not only is she the Master Diviner of one of the Divination Commission, but she is the head of one of the Luofu’s branches, similar to Yukong. She stands alongside her as one of the Six Charioteers, overseeing the Luofu’s route by using divination to calculate their path ahead.
Although it has not been announced officially when her banner will debut, leakers have speculated that we will be seeing her at some part during Honkai: Star Rail’s 1.3 update. She wasn’t part of the beta tests either, so there haven’t been notices on what her kit will provide aside from basic knowledge about what her element will be and what Path she follows.
Fu Xuan is going to be a Quantum Preservation character, which means she will be primarily good for shielding others. Although specifics about her kit haven’t been finalized, we can gather based on leak information of her Five-Star lightcone, “Already Closed Both Eyes” that her stats will revolve around her Max HP. Preservation characters have shields that revolve either around the Health Points or Defense depending on which one it is, so it looks like Fu Xuan will be the former. We can also expect that she will heighten the Effect Resistance so that characters are less likely to be affected by ailments during battle.
It was originally quite odd to look at Fu Xuan and picture her as a healer, but it will be a fascinating choice when it comes to filling out the Quantum roster since we mostly have damage dealers, and our recent Silver Wolf who is meant to debuff your enemies. Although Fu Xuan may not be so good at attacking, we can hope that she’ll do her best to foresee damage and ensure we don’t fall in battle.
