Hogwarts Legacy provides numerous ways to strengthen your character’s offensive and defensive capabilities. A few examples include equipping combat items and potions, upgrading your gear and adding traits to give passive bonuses. One of the most powerful traits is Concentration 3, which boosts your overall spell damage. This means that, rather than equipping traits for individual spells, you’ll get small increases for each one. Where to Get the Concentration 3 Gear Trait in Hogwarts Legacy
There are a few ways to unlock more traits in Hogwarts Legacy. You can get defensive ones through challenges, one through quests, and the rest in what’s known as “Exploration”. With traits, in particular, you’ll have to travel around the world, go into Bandit Camps and loot their collection chests for traits.
The caveat? The trait you get is random. If you’re lucky, you’ll get it after a few chests. For all the unlucky folks out there, you may not get it for a while.
Don’t worry, though. There is a way to make things slightly easier.
Using Saves to Find Traits
While the game does randomize Bandit Camp chest loot, there is one strategy you can use to increase your chances of finding Concentration 3. The first is to prepare some saves since we’ll be save scumming here. Afterwards, find a collection chest that gives a trait. If you open one and get a wand handle, gear or anything other than this, head to another camp until you receive a trait.

Once you have your trait chest, prepare a save before you open it. From here, open the chest and see your reward. If you don’t get Concentration 3 or another trait you like, reload the save and try again. The game randomizes it every time, so you’re unlikely to get the same one twice in a row. Just be careful since you won’t keep the trait you got before reloading!
Putting this into action, I got Cruelty I, Fangs I and Ambush III from the same chest using this method. While I wasn’t quite lucky enough to get Concentration, receiving the third trait drop showed me that you can get any tier, from one to three, from the same chest. In other words, you’ll need luck and dedication if you don’t want to spend hours running around looting chests.
