Where To Get Shroud Spores in Enshrouded

Find out how to farm these items easily in Enshrouded.

There are many different items available for crafting in Enshrouded, but Shroud Spores can make some of the best early-game items. As the name implies, you’ll mostly find this material in the Shroud, which is great because multiple shrouded regions are available from the start, close to your Flame Altar. Let’s find out how to get our hands on plenty of Shroud Spores, and where you can find them.

How To Get Shroud Spores in Enshrouded

To get your hands on plenty of Shroud Spores, you’ll want to head into the Shroud.

You’ll encounter a variety of shrouded enemies within this Fog that have been overtaken by the Enshroudement, and it’s your job to exterminate them and claim the goodies that you need.

While you may not always receive Shroud Spores, this is the only way to ensure that you can get some for your crafting needs.

If you see a blue creature roaming within the Enshroudment, be sure to take it out with any of the weapons that you’ve crafted.

Use a sword, a wand, or anything in between to bring their cursed life to an end and loot the pile of ash and bone that they leave behind to see what they may have dropped. Normally, you’ll find Runes, Tattered Cloth, and Shroud Spores on these creatures so be prepared to fight whenever you see them.

Additionally, these enemies can sometimes be found outside the Shroud as well. You can even lure them out of there if the timer is on the lower side. This is an easy way to alleviate pressure and earn those Shroud Spores.

What Should You Craft First With Shroud Spores in Enshrouded

If we could recommend anything to craft first using Shroud Spores, it would easily be the Glider.

Since the world of Enshrouded is quite large, having an easy way to make it around without worrying about fall damage is vital. The Glider can be crafted at a workbench and requires the following materials.

Enshrouded ItemMaterials Required
Glider8x Shroud Wood
2x Animal Fur
2x String
2x Shroud Spres

While you’re out and about, you can easily activate this particular item after equipping it. Make sure that you equip it before trying it, I learned this the hard way. However, flying through the air at high speeds is a rush that can’t be found in any other Survival/Crafting game on the market.

Other Items that Require Shroud Spores in Enshrouded

Apart from the Glider, the following items in Enshrouded also use Shroud Spores as a material for crafting:

  • Alchemical Base
  • Enshrouded Oil
  • Grappling Hook
    • Improved Grappling Hook
  • Shroud Core
  • Small Magic Chest

Shroud Spores aren’t the only items you can find early on, but Resin can be found in Enshrouded as soon as you exit the opening cave, and it’s necessary for upgrading your Flame Altar.
