Where to Get Hair Dye in Dragon’s Dogma 2

If you’re hoping to give yourself an extreme makeover, you must make a straight shot toward Bakbattahl as quickly as possible. Sure, there’s a good chance that you will get trounced by enemies if you’re not leveled up high enough, but nothing can stop the passion for fashion. Once you’ve made it to Bakbattahl, you’ll want to head to the Bakbattahl Pawn Guild, shown on the map above.

Once inside the Pawn Guild, you’ll want to speak to the Beastren Rift Seller to see what they have on offer. To be completely fair, I thought the Dye that they were selling could be used to dye your armor, but after spending nearly all of my Rift Crystals, I discovered that it was purely for dyeing your hair. At least you can earn RC pretty easily here — no microtransactions necessary.

Ask the seller to see their wares, and you’ll see the following items available to purchase.

  • Red Dye – 500 RC
  • Green Dye – 500 RC
  • Blue Dye – 500 RC
  • Yellow Dye – 500 RC
  • Purple Dye – 500 RC

Purchase any or all of the available dyes and get ready to give your characters a makeover — as long as you’ve got the gold to cover the costs.

How To Dye Your Hair in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Once you get over the fact that you just spent 2,500 RC on what you thought was Armor Dye — not what happened to me nope — you’ll want to head into the nearest Cosmetic Shop/Barber to start the process. You’ll find them on your map by searching for an icon that looks like a pair of Scissors. I guess now is a better time than ever to find out if you can hide your helmet so you can show off your new hair color.

Once inside, speak to the clerk behind the counter and you’ll automatically hand over all of the dye in your possession. Speak to them again and let them know that you’d like to cut your hair, followed by the selection of either your Main Character or your Main Pawn.

By using the R1/RB and L1/LB buttons, you can select from a variety of different hair colors for your character, including the new options granted to you by purchasing these Dyes. You’ll have quite a few new options to choose from, so don’t be afraid to get a little wild with your selections. You’ll find a selection of the new colors available in the slideshow above.
