Alongside Hard Mode and New Game+, CAPCOM has confirmed that the PC version is finally getting support for several DualSense features.

DualSense Features Coming to Dragon’s Dogma 2 on PC

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is getting a major patch on October 9, 2026, alongside the release of Dark Arisen. It includes plenty of bug fixes, technical improvements, quality-of-life additions, and new features for both the base game and the expansion. Buried at the bottom of the patch notes, though, there’s also a mention that additional DualSense features are finally coming to the PC version.

Changed to enable DualSense® Wireless Controller adaptive triggers/controller vibration/motion sensor functionality.

Right now, if you play Dragon’s Dogma 2 with a DualSense controller, it works right away, and you can switch the prompts to PlayStation or Xbox in the settings. It supports standard vibration, but not adaptive triggers or the other features being added with this update. While the patch notes don’t specifically mention haptic feedback, the PS5 version does support it, so it’s possible that this functionality could also be included. However, CAPCOM hasn’t confirmed that yet.

Native DualSense motion controls are also being enabled, which could be particularly useful when the reticle is visible for certain weapon types.
