Can You Hide Your Helmet in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

Can you hide your helmet away?

The ability to hide your armor is a must for some RPG fans, gaining the stats of a helm without donning it on their character. But can you hide your helmet in Dragon’s Dogma 2 to get the extra buffs for an upcoming battle, or will you need to wear it with pride?

Is There An Option To Hide Helmet in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

For players hoping to hide what they may view as hideous headwear, you’re out of luck — there is no option to hide your helmet in Dragon’s Dogma 2. At first, I was opposed to this idea since I had spent so long customizing a character that I wanted their locks out on display. However, as I progressed further into the story and began unlocking some slick new helmets, I was fine with my Arisen’s fate to be strapped into a helmet at any given point.

Some early-game helmets may not be worth the time and effort to purchase and wear, only offering pitiful defense to your overall rating. In the later game, when things start picking up, however, it may not hurt to find one that you enjoy the looks of and strap it on before embarking toward your next checkpoint. But there is at least one thing you’ll be happy about when it comes to specific helmets.

Most helmets that offer a visor will give you the option to Lift the Visor by visiting your Equipment tab and selecting the piece of armor. You can at least see your face still, even if your luscious locks are hidden behind slabs of molten metal. At this point of the game, however, I’d rather ensure that I survive a vicious attack than worry about whether I can see my character’s hair anymore — a far cry from where I was when I first started.

While some still see their character’s hair as the “mane” attraction here, there is plenty to love about Dragon’s Dogma 2. See why we think it’s one of the greatest sequels ever made and get helpful tips and tricks to help you survive by checking out our section below.
