Slime Rancher 2 Puddle Slime

Where to Find Puddle Slimes in Slime Rancher 2

One of my favorite slimes in the game!

Finding every slime in Slime Rancher 2 is a challenge! While some, such as the Pink and Cotton slimes, are easy to find, others are more difficult. Puddle Slimes, in particular, are one of the harder slimes to find due to their specific spawn locations and conditions. If you’re interested in learning more, continue reading to discover where to find Puddle Slimes in Slime Rancher 2.

Where to Find Puddle Slimes in Slime Rancher 2

Puddle Slimes live exclusively in the water in Slime Rancher 2. While you’re unlikely to find some in Rainbow Fields due to the lack of ponds and rivers here, you’ll find them all around Ember Valley and Starlight Strand.

Just make sure you’re not jumping straight into the sea. You won’t find any Puddle Slimes here. Instead, your character will pass out for a few hours, and you’ll lose all of your items.

With that little disclaimer out of the way, you can begin searching for Puddle Slimes! Two of the best places to explore are the following:

  • Ember Valley – In the pond near the Crystal and Tabby Gordos
  • Starlight Strand – Various ponds around the Angler and Flutter Gordo regions

While these certainly aren’t the only places to find them, they’re two great starting points if you’re in either area and want to search for Puddle Slimes. Once you have some Puddle Slimes, you can build a Pond in your Conservatory and place them inside! They’ll generate Puddle Plorts for you, which you can toss into your Refinery or sell for Newbucks.

Slime Rancher 2 is available in Early Access on PC and Xbox Series X|S through Steam and Game Pass. If you’re interested in learning more about the game, check out How to Get Wild Honey and How to Get Strange Diamond in Slime Rancher 2.
