The Helldiver becomes the Hunter.

You’ll face all manner of bugs across the galaxy in the pursuit of Super Freedom, and none pose quite as much of an annoyance as the Hunters. Here is where to find and kill Hunters in Helldivers 2.

What Are Hunters?

You’ll recognize Hunters immediately upon stumbling into a nest or out on patrol. They’re minor bugs with white shells and orange wings, known for their impressive leaps through the air to your position.

While dangerous in appearance, these unsightly bugs are nothing more than a nuisance to melee away. If you have a keen eye and trigger finger, you can shoot one down as it leaps great distances.

How to Find Hunters in Helldivers 2

Hunters in Helldivers 2 can be found on any bug-ridden planet in the Terminid sector and on any difficulty level. The orange-yellow eastern portion of the Galactic Map is Terminid-controlled sectors, so jump over there!

Once you land on any of the infested planets in the zone, look for bug patrols and small nests. That’s where you’re most likely to stumble upon Hunters. They like to travel alongside the runts of the Termininds.

How to Kill Hunters in Helldivers 2

To kill Hunters in Helldivers 2:

  • You’ll want to use fast-firing weapons and explosives. I recommend an automatic shotgun or submachine gun, both proving exceptional in close quarters.
  • A quick melee strike will stun Hunters, allowing you to finish the job with a quick burst from your primary weapon or a second melee attack.
  • If you spot them before they spot you, you can mow down an entire group of Hunters with any automatic weapon, like the Stalwart!

Once you’re done dealing with Hunters, we need you on the Automaton side destroying fuel reserves, soldier!
