Where to Find All Drained Conch Cups in Genshin Impact

The Drained Conch Cups are a special item in Genshin Impact found scattered all around the region of Fontaine, usually hidden in some unusual places. Although they were initially useless, they can now be used to unveil a weapon’s true potential, and here’s where you can find all of them.

All Drained Conch Cups Locations in Genshin Impact

There’s a total of four Drained Conch Cups to be found in Fontaine. You might already have some of them by the time you get the blade, but some will have you working hard for them.

1 – Narzissenkreuz Ordo

The first one is inside the Ordo where you get most of the quests for this specific line. You’ll find it in a Precious Chest at the north of the room.

2 – Institute of Natural Philosophy

Hidden in a room a little bit above the Ordo. It should be found next to some Rifthounds and other interactable notes once you open the door.

3 – Bravais’ Hidden Study

The Study’s door will open once you obtain all seven Mysterious Ores in the Liffey and the Fontaine Research Institute of Kinetic Energy Engineering Regions. Some are randomly placed inside chests, while others can only be found through lengthy World Quests, so take your time with this one.

4 – Loch Urania

You’ll get this one after finding all Foggy Forest Branches in Erinnyes Forest and delivering them to Pahsiv. The last Cup will show up inside a chest, so grab it, and you’re done with those.

What Are Drained Conch Cups in Genshin Impact?

Drained Conch Cups are key items you can use to obtain the Surging Sacred Chalice refinement items, which are needed to refine the Sword of Narzissenkreuz you get through the Fontaine World Quests.

Although the sword is used in one of the initial Narzissenkreuz storyline quests merely as a decorative item, it becomes a full-fleshed-out weapon once you’re done with them. This means completing all related quest lines and finishing the “In the Wake of Narcissus” World Quest line, in which you visit the Primordial Sea and put an end to the incoming apocalypse.

Where to Use Drained Conch Cups in Genshin Impact

Once you have all of them in your hands, head back to the fountain in Annapausis (where you met the final members of the Narzissenkreuz Adventure Team), where you’ll have the option to transform all Drained Conch Cups into Surging Sacred Chalices to refine your Sword to Rank 5.

Although it’s not the strongest of weapons, it can be rather helpful for non-Fontainian characters who only need some extra power boost. Or you can just go with the usual banner weapons since rarely go out of fashion.
