Resident Evil 4 Remake has its fair share of wacky stuff that you can find that ends up being surprisingly useful. Take the charms you get from the shooting range for example, which give you stat boosts for merely attaching tiny pieces of plastic to your suitcase. Ridiculous, we know. One particular wacky item is required as part of a request from the Merchant but is surprisingly easy to find. Here is where to find a Golden Egg in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

The Golden Egg request, also known as Egg Hunt, appears in Chapter 4 of the game while exploring the lake. You will be awarded three spinel for finding and selling the golden egg, which still gives you that sweet cash. Not a bad trade-off for the time, if you ask us. The confusing part is finding a golden egg in the middle of nowhere.

To find this golden egg, you will want to open up the map and head to the small bit of land on the eastern side of the lake. You will find a few extra things on this small island, but for this guide, this is where you will find the golden egg. Pick it up and take your boat back to the Merchant where you can sell it. Do so, and he will reward you with a completed request alongside three spinel for your troubles.
