As you travel the world of Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom and find horses to care for, you’ll have to shop at some stables to register them and take a long, relaxing sleep at an inn. Well, maybe you don’t have to sleep if you want to save your rupees, but taking a quick stop can still benefit you when things get overwhelming. Better yet, you can find some quests here if you keep your eyes open! If you want to learn more, continue reading to discover where Dueling Peaks Stable is in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

My go-to method of getting here is to use the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower to fly south past the mountain and climb down until I reach the stable. You can also fly east from the Popla Foothills Tower if you have it unlocked! Otherwise, you can use a path directly connecting Kakariko Village to the Stable to travel south on foot.
Another option is to start from Riverside Stable, travel south to Proxim Bridge and run east to the stable. While this is a slightly longer path, you’ll have the chance to unlock Kamizun and Jochisiu Shrines along the way. If you’re unfamiliar with this stable, be sure to check out where Riverside Stable is in Tears of the Kingdom.
What Can You Find at TOTK’s Dueling Peaks Stable?
Dueling Peaks Stable is one of several where you’ll encounter Beedle, a travelling merchant who sells bugs! Here, he sells items like Restless Crickets, Hot-Footed Frogs and Octo Balloons, among other collectibles. Make sure to save some rupees if you’re looking for any of these!
The main reason to visit Dueling Peaks Stable is to begin the “Princess Zelda Kidnapped” mini-quest. During the day, you’ll find Penn on top of the stable tower, commenting on the Yiga and how they may have kidnapped Zelda. If you want to help Lucky Clover Gazette and get some Froggy armor, you’ll have to finish this quest as part of the “Potential Princess Sightings” quest line.
