Historically, the wipe always hits on a Thursday, and at the same time, the Battlestate Games usually announce the exact date of the wipe one or two days before the wipe. This means that August 15 or 16 is out of the question, and it does make sense that it won’t hit on those days because the pre-wipe event just started. However, with how mysterious and erratic Battlestate Games has become when it comes to these announcements, there’s no way of saying exactly when the wipe will come out.
The true sign of a wipe date should come in two forms: an announcement of a wipe through a cryptic image and an official announcement of technical maintenance that should last for eight hours or more.
