What is the Best Gun to Use in MW3 Zombies?

The best weapon to use in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies is the DG-58 assault rifle. Overall, the Wonder Weapons are the best weapons in the game, but that’s a given. You can’t reliably get a Wonder Weapon every time you load into a match, so you need a guaranteed alternative in your primary slot. That’s where the DG-58 truly shines.

Compared to other rifles in MW3 Zombies, the DG has a ton of damage in each burst. Once you Pack-A-Punch the gun, it turns into a 6-round burst that decimates any enemies in your path. Because Zombies is all about taking down large mobs in a train and then running again, having a weapon with burst damage is a massive boon. Just make sure to have an extended magazine ready to go.

For a great alternative, I would run the Holger 556 as one of the most versatile weapons in Modern Warfare 3. This weapon hits nearly as hard as the DG-58 with a little less accuracy requirement. Fully automatic weapons can be great for trains, and the Holger has almost as much damage as the DG.

In the best-case scenario, you can use a schematic to craft a Ray Gun and then place the DG-58 in your secondary slot. This is the best combo in Zombies to take down any boss or tear through the hordes.
