What Does the Tender Dinosaur Do in Paleo Pines? – Answered

The Tender Helper assignment is usually allocated to the smaller dinosaurs in Paleo Pines, which means they will certainly not be gaining saddles for the player to use their skills. Instead, the Tender Dinosaur is intended to help out around nearby farm areas.

To do this, the farmer must first acquire a Seed Pen. It will take a couple of weeks for the farmer to adjust to the farm and get to know Avery. Avery will visit Pebble Plaza around the 11th day of the first month the player starts the game. By talking to Avery and befriending him, he’ll give the player the Seed Pen, allowing them to use the Tender Skill for smaller dinosaurs.

By placing a Seed Pen next to a bed of crops and filling it with the Seeds that you want planted, much like you would navigate a Dinosaur to a Pen, players will then be able to assign a small dinosaur to a Seed Pen so that they can tend the garden. Tenders cannot water or till, but they can replant seeds that are in the Seed Pen and weed the surrounding crops.

Paleo Pines is a relatively easy-going game so you won’t find it too hard to come across a Tender Dinosaur at some point across your journey. You’ll be able to befriend a Coelophysis when you begin to start some of the tutorials with Mari. This will help you start getting your first few Dinosaurs set up for the farm. But you must befriend them and gain their trust first by walking them around or feeding them their favorite treat.

All Tenders can also be found in the first early stages of the game as well Veridian Valley is the first area that players are able to explore, and there are plenty of small dinosaurs to befriend to not only collect all their data but also to get some help for your farm!
