Landing platforms are one example that, although not often spoken about, are still an essential part of the game if you want 100%. What Are Landing Platforms in Hogwarts Legacy

As you progress through the game, attend class and unlock different spells, you’ll eventually encounter a flying class that teaches you about broom flight. While this class mainly shows you how flight mechanics work, it prepares you for venturing around the map, including how to speed up, slow down and land.

Taking this class and gaining access to broom flight allows you to interact with landing platforms: large, circular platforms scattered around the map that, when interacted with, light up to signal that you completed it.

There are 20 platforms on the map, with none at Hogwarts or in Hogsmeade. Most areas have only one or two, with regions like Feldcroft and Hogwarts Valley having slightly more. You’ll often find them in scenic spots like cliffsides, coastal areas and other interesting locations.

Below are the exact number of landing platforms in each area:

  • North Ford Bog – 1
  • Hogsmeade Valley – 2
  • North Hogwarts Region – 2
  • South Hogwarts Region – 1
  • Hogwarts Valley – 3
  • Feldcroft Region – 4
  • Poidsear Coast – 1
  • Marunweem Lake – 2
  • Cragcroftshire – 1
  • Manor Cape – 2
  • Clagmar Coast – 1
  • Total – 20

Don’t worry; you can skip over the Forbidden Forest, South Sea Bog and the Coastal Cavern. They are the only three areas outside of Hogwarts and Hogsmeade with no landing platforms.

Landing Platforms are also part of a series of challenges under Exploration, where you’ll gain Quidditch Captain cosmetics after finding 2/6/12/20 platforms. As you discover more platforms, head into this challenge menu to claim your rewards!
