Rare Golden Chicken Location in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2
Although the Golden Chickens are rare in the game, you can easily find them on the map in open nature. They roam in the fields at random locations. However, we were lucky enough to find two or three in our first game, where we landed somewhere between Fencing Fields and Snooty Steppes.
You can spot them in the grassy areas of the map, not inside the towns or buildings. The chickens make sounds when you are close to them, allowing you to pinpoint their direction. You can also find normal chickens in the area, but you can tell the difference from the golden shine of the Golden Chicken.
What Do You Get From Golden Chickens in Fortnite?
Upon eliminating Golden Chicken, you will get a few Gold Bars and Meat, which you can eat to gain some health. But, if you wait, the Golden Chicken will lay a Golden Egg that you can interact with to get 350 Gold Bars. It lays an egg after every few minutes. If you pick up the Golden Chicken and trap it inside a room or in a box, you can farm for Gold Bars for as long as possible.
The Gold Bars can be used to hire non-playable characters (NPCs), apply mods to the guns using Weapon Mod Bench, buy items from Vending Machines or NPCs, or upgrade your weapon to Legendary rarity.
