There are several ways to improve and customize your player in NBA 2K25. The player progression system has improved over the years, and there are so many features to take note of when improving your player. Best Way to Level Up Badges in NBA 2K25

When you play games in the NBA (MyCareer story), City, The Rec, Pro-AM, and Proving Grounds, you’ll naturally get some levels to your badges. The badge progression revolves around two things: your player’s attribute and how often you use the badges.

Player attributes are the first step to getting badges. For example, Dimer needs 55 Pass Accuracy to get the bronze badge. You can’t really upgrade the Dimer badge to silver until you meet the 71 Pass Accuracy needed to upgrade to the silver badge.

However, if you have 71 Pass Accuracy and it is still bronze, you need to use the badge to upgrade it. The Dimer badge activates when you pass to open shooters. Every time you do this on any of the modes above, you’ll progress your Dimer badge.

Upgrade Badges Through Practice Facility

You’ll have to do this for every badge, but you want to pay attention to those other badges you aren’t really using, and you want to level up. This is where the practice facility in NBA 2K25’s MyCareer comes in. In between MyCareer games, you have the option to do four drills in the practice facility. The facility is just beside the hallway leading to the ” play next game.”

Drills for every badge will be available. If you don’t have the badge unlocked yet, you won’t see the drill for it. You can treat these drills as a minigame and practice. You’ll also remember to do these drills in the game to improve these badges, too.

Choose the badges or drills that you rarely use in the game so you can level up all your badges equally. If you want to upgrade a badge to gold or higher as fast as possible, you can consistently do drills while spamming the badge ability in games.

Earn Badge Upgrade Multipliers

If you go to your player’s badge page and go to the Performance Multipliers tab, you’ll see some benefits and instructions on how to unlock them. Most of these benefits will give you an accelerated badge progression boost, and it is best to unlock them as quickly as possible.

You’ll naturally unlock them by playing games, but you should check your phone for messages so you know you have reached some of these milestones.

Once you have unlocked these perks, you’ll upgrade your badges as fast as possible. You can focus on finishing one or two areas in these performance multipliers since the benefits or boosts only apply to the specific game mode.

These challenges get easier if you choose a strong team to play for in MyCareer. You can also work your way up to become a starter in NBA 2K25, so you have more playing time and use your badges more.
