The tale of a missing pair of boots, or one about to become missing, or sold; either way, you can earn some credits from a pair of boots. Here is how to complete The Boot in Starfield.

How to Start The Boot in Starfield

To start The Boot, you must first purchase any item from UC Surplus in The Well, New Atlantis. Once you’ve done that, wait a bit and return to the store. You may catch some dialogue between the owner, Antonio Bianchi, and a patrol who believes the boots he sold her are unlucky.

Once they’re done, speak with Antonio. He will pay you to deliver the unlucky boots to The Den, stash them in a crate somewhere unseen, and forget about the whole ordeal.

How to Complete The Boot in Starfield

To complete The Boot, you’ll need to take the unlucky pair of boots to The Den in the Wolf Star System and then dump them. Or, you can sell them to one of the workers at the star station for 500 Credits. Either way, Antonio needs these boots gone forever.

Return to Antonio

Once you have the boots, head to your spaceship and travel to The Den. You will find it in the Wolf Star System, which is just to the northeast of Alpha Centauri. It’s a single jump, so no matter what ship you’re flying, you should make it without any issues.

Once there, head around the back to the hallway on the right-hand side of the space station. There, you will find a crate at the end of the hallway, near the blocked-off corridor, to dump the boots.

Alternatively, you can sell the boots to the worker here. He’ll pay 500 Credits.

Once you’re done, return to Antonio for your reward.

The Boot Quest Rewards

For finishing The Boot in Starfield, you will receive the following quest rewards:

  • 150 XP
  • Credits (Leveled)

Additionally, you can earn another 500 Credits by selling the boots to the worker at The Den instead of placing them inside the crate. That’s up to you, though.

While you’re out and about, why not visit Neon to tackle Mob Mentality?
