Spider-Ham – New Marvel Snap Card – Showcase, Decks, Counters, Synergies

How did the pig tracks get on the ceiling?

Marvel Snap is getting more and more Spider-Man-related cards, and most of them are pretty amazing if you ask me. If you are a big Spider-Man fan and want to run a Spider-Man-themed deck, you will have an easier time as the amount of these cards increases. However, Spider-Ham is bound to be one of the best 1-Drops in Marvel Snap. See what Spider-Ham does, along with some suggestions about synergies and counters.

What is the Effect of Spider-Ham in Marvel Snap?

Before we start, we have to emphasize that this is a card that has straight-away gone to Series 4, so it will cost 3000 Collector’s Tokens, making it slightly more accessible to players.

Spider-Ham is a 1-Cost, 1-Power card that is bound to become a staple as it’s a major counter to any big card you have in your hand.

On Reveal: Transform the highest-cost card in your opponent’s hand into a Pig, keeping its Power and Cost.

You can basically put Spider-Ham in almost any deck. Imagine snubbing an opponent’s Galactus, Apocalypse, or Knull.

There are no exact counters to it. Cosmo would be too late for the party. Zabu would be a fun choice because the pig token gains cost reduction from Zabu (“Pig” cost changed to 0). Infinaut and Giganto say hi as well.

That’s all for this card showcase. I predict that the game will be much more annoying for players with combo decks moving forward when they start losing their combo pieces.
