In order to be able to type cheat codes into The Sims 4, you need to have the Cheat Console open first. Opening the Cheat Console in The Sims 4 is simple. On PC and Mac, you’ll need to press Ctrl (Command on Mac), Shift, and C together. On PlayStation and Xbox, hold all shoulder buttons at once.

In order to activate the Motherlode cheat in The Sims 4, simply type motherlode into the Cheat Console. It’s as easy as that.
